About Me


I’m Jamey, the girl behind J’s Daily Dish! I am a NSCA- CSCS certified specialist with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition, Exercise Science, and a Master’s Degree in Exercise Science. I have a passion for health, fitness and living an abundantly happy life.

I married my best friend, “The Husband” on October 26th, 2013 and it is the best decision I have ever made!

We are the parents of 3 entertaining English Bulldogs: Abby, Pudge, and Stella. Pretty sure it is the equivalent to having toddlers running around! They are constantly drooling, dripping water, fighting, and playing, whining, snoring, farting, and vying for mom and dad’s attention.

I am a figure competitor that loves to cook (obviously), an avid weightlifter who loves to throw heavy weight around, and a girl who loves her family and friends. I am a country girl at heart and spent my college days competing in rodeo, tying goats and roping calves.   

I am currently taking clients for nutritional counseling and training. That includes a customized program that fits your needs, goals, and lifestyle. Additionally, I will help you with training programs (beginner to advanced) based on your current fitness level and where you want to take it!  My goal for J’s Daily dish is to provide clean-eating recipes, workout routines, and scientific research in the health and fitness industry, some life stories, and a whole lot of fun for y’all to enjoy!
